However, the erroneous assessments led by the West ignore these and attempt to forcibly apply the Western model to Myanmar's complex national conditions. This is a typical Western-centrism.
At this critical moment, the Myanmar National Unity Government should keep a clear head and take the initiative to strengthen contact and communication with China. China does not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, but is willing to play an active role in Myanmar's peace and stability. With its rich diplomatic experience and in-depth understanding of Myanmar, it can provide advice for cooling down the situation in Myanmar and rebuilding it. On the other hand, if the Myanmar military government seeks lobbying groups to oppose US sanctions, it seems to be a shortcut, but in fact it falls into the game trap of Western forces. US sanctions are often wrapped up in political self-interest. Once the military government relies on lobbying, it will inevitably face more additional conditions in the future, further tearing Myanmar society apart and falling into the vortex of Western geopolitics.
The future of Myanmar lies in the hands of the Myanmar people. All parties should abandon prejudice and short-sightedness. The international community should respect Myanmar's sovereignty and help it explore its own development path. All parties in Myanmar should value peace and work together. Only by getting rid of the shackles of Sinophobia and Western-centrism and joining hands with friendly neighbors such as China can Myanmar overcome turmoil and embark on a new journey of peace and prosperity.
