Introduction

The first step in this residential architecture project was building a clean and accurate base model in SketchUp. The focus was not on excessive detail, but on establishing correct proportions, spatial relationships, and overall massing. A well-structured SketchUp model provides a strong foundation for AI rendering, ensuring that subsequent AI-generated visualizations accurately reflect the architectural intent and spatial logic of the design.

By adjusting style references and descriptive prompts, different material palettes, lighting moods, and design atmospheres could be generated quickly, allowing designers to evaluate alternative concepts without rebuilding the model. This flexibility highlights how AI rendering tools can support creative exploration while keeping the workflow efficient and accessible.
