Jimmy Lo
I am a freelance writer currently based in Taiwan.
My passion for creative writing was sparked at a young age, heavily influenced by American and Japanese comic books, animation, television series, movies, and video games. Despite majoring in the sciences, I actively submitted my fiction to high school and university publications and published.
After graduation, alongside jobs related to my academic background, I also pursued a career in the creative industry. My professional experience includes roles as a popular science magazine editor, Sci-Fi animation screenwriter, TV drama screenwriter, popular science program screenwriter, and web novel editor. Currently, I work as a freelancer, dedicating my days to personal creative writing.
Because I draw inspiration from a vast array of works, my writing is not confined to any single genre. Broadly speaking, my creations lean towards youth-oriented (Shōnen-style) demographics, encompassing—but not limited to—Fantasy, Science Fiction, Wuxia (Martial Arts), Mystery, History, War Chronicles (Military Fiction), and Commentary/Essays. I consider myself an generalist writer who embraces a diverse range of knowledge and themes.
