The Origin of Leo: Lionheart City

Lionheart City, Leo's homeland, is a militaristic state built on a foundation of absolute power and ruthless Spartanism.

• The Ideology: From its very inception, the city has worshipped the "Survival of the Fittest." It functions not as a society, but as a giant, cold machine.
• The Indoctrination: At the tender age of six, children are forcibly severed from their families. They are thrust into a collective, high-pressure environment designed to break their individuality and rebuild them as soldiers.
• The Objective: The goal is to strip away their humanity—erasing fear, hesitation, and even the capacity to feel pain—turning them into nothing more than living war machines fueled by nationalistic fanatacism.

Infancy and Childhood (Birth)

The Rite of Inspection (Birth): Immediately upon birth, every infant is brought before the Council of Elders for a mandatory physical and behavioral evaluation.

• The Selection: The city has no tolerance for what they deem "weakness." If a newborn is found to be sickly, shows signs of a "timid" disposition, or possesses any perceived physical defects, they are instantly rejected.

雷歐與加卡是制度產生的英雄神話，他們以壓倒性實力突破年齡規定直接成為帶領獅王城的首領（國王存在）與戰士長（二把手）彼此情同兄弟。然而最後因理念分道揚鑣，加卡統領獅王城不斷征戰，而雷歐統領反抗軍進行抵抗加卡，直到雷希幫助雷歐獅王城制度將迎來改變。

直到某次任務返回雷歐在荒野意外發現因為體弱而被棄置的獅子幼嬰，雷歐無法接受制度的殘忍收養孩子成了他成立反抗軍對抗制度收留孩子戰爭遺孤的導火線。

雷希一行人來到獅王城看到的是居民對殘忍訓練引以為豪的病態情緒渲染，與參觀軍訓過程雄獅對無法達成要求的幼獅軍人鞭打時想流淚卻壓抑的眼神空洞，這讓雷希感到渾身作嘔想阻止卻無法出手的撕裂感。回到廣場時看見一位婦人哭訴自己孩子大部分都已戰死，祈求放過僅存唯一幼小孩子讓他平安長大的懇求被拒絕而強制帶走。正當雷希忍受不住出手時雷歐即時介入解救大家，雷希也因為幫助雷歐而跟隨他進入反抗軍基地。

回到營區後雷希實在氣不過質疑獅王城制度憤怒詢問雷歐，雷歐指出這座城市正在邁向毀滅，不停的征戰讓族群不斷減少，為何人們不願停下來珍惜身邊擁有的事物？這樣的體制族群注定滅亡毫無未來可能。這使雷希下定決心幫助雷歐反抗體制，而雷歐把雷希當作摯友般的存在無比珍惜。

雷歐把雷希當成摯友而非軍人，雷希基本不受雷歐命令自行判斷，有時為了拯救瀕危的幼獅身陷危險讓雷歐害怕。他跟雷希甚至產生衝突，誰也不服誰。可最後雷歐坦白自己對雷希的感情，雙方更加信任。雷希當初一直以為雷歐把他當成戰力資源命令忽略生命可貴與獨一無二，讓他無法放下弱小失去性命。

可事實是雷希對雷歐情感上太重要以至於經不起失去，不是因為雷希是個強大鬼牌原因。軍令無私情，雷希會這樣想很正常，因為身為總司令的雷歐背負全軍性命的壓力這種判斷反而正確，只是雷希無法接受。

雷希讓雷歐看見在基地中被他拼命就出的幼獅在基地中快樂玩耍，他說每個性命都獨一無二值得被守護，自己的性命並未比任何人高貴。他害怕死亡，但更害怕眼前無辜的性命因為自己的猶豫而喪失。
