在我心中恩田陸的《蜜蜂與遠雷》是上乘之作，不僅主題明確，而且文字流暢不矯情。就算不會讀五線譜，也絲毫不影響閱讀體驗。
但Spring完全相反。

蜜蜂與遠雷聚焦在一位天才，但同時也帶出來同場比賽的其他參賽者。每一位選手都被描繪得飽滿，讀者也能透過這些故事線對比，明白
「蜜蜂與遠雷」是本讓人印象很深刻的書，用文字描述的世界讓人彷彿聽到了音樂，記得當時還找來書裡的曲單聆聽欣賞。 而這本Spring恩田陸又再次發揮精湛的描述能力，讓對芭蕾舞一無所知的我，好像也欣賞了看到了舞蹈的優雅與看到舞台上豐富的故事。
