英文作文12：Things I Have Learned as a PE Class Leader

I have served as the PE class leader for two semester in my sophomore year of high school. In this period, my class and I have achieved some goals in sports. First of all, I joined the school swimming competition in the summer vacation. To prepare for the event, I often went to the swimming pool to sharpen my swimming skills after school. I had trained myself for about seven weeks, strengthening my muscle and adjusting my body to the best condition. It was really such a tough challenge for me that sometimes I even thought of giving up. Finally, I got the second place in free style. The success spark our class’s passion to participate in some of our school’s sport games. Next, our class began to prepare for the sports meet which would be held two months later. Among all the sports events, what we were most excited about was the relay race. We trained ourselves not only in the PE class but also after class. Besides, I needed to decide the order of the runners based on their speed) Though we didn’t have very fast runners, we still won the forth place due to our hard work and my strategy used in setting up our four-person relay team: second-fastest, third-fastest, slowest then fastest. I think it is a honor to me because this proves I can lead a group of people to work together, chasing the same target. The last event, hiking on the 18 Peak Mountain, is the the most special of all. It was held in winter, so it was extremely cold while running. We needed to run all over the mountain within 40 minutes, or our score would be below 60. It was hard for us because of the steep slope with our frozen feet. I needed to do my best to show my best that I can do it, and they could do it, too. The most important thing is that we made up our mind to achieve the long run.
