PRICE — The Ransom for Sovereignty
On the surface of commercial transactions, "Price" is seen as a number on a tag or the result of supply and demand. But in the depths of Source Code, Price has never been about acquisition; it has always been about "Payment."
Price stems from the Latin Pretium. Its original meaning is chillingly precise: "Ransom."
In ancient logic, when you sought a breakthrough from the status quo or aimed to reclaim sovereignty within a restricted system, you had to pay a ransom to "redeem" your future from mediocrity. Price is the exact cost you must calculate and pay to secure the freedom of non-interference.
Mediocre observers obsess over the surface of "expensive" or "cheap"; they fear paying a high cost. But a true leader knows that the highest cost is often the hesitation to "pay the ransom." If you are unwilling to pay the precise price, you remain forever imprisoned within the existing system, a captive of reality.
Price is the ultimatum you issue to reality in exchange for your sovereignty.
【 The Silent Inquiry 】
When faced with a massive decision and its price tag, ask yourself:
"Am I haggling over numbers, or am I paying the ransom for my sovereignty?"
"If you dare not pay the price, you will never redeem your freedom."
