◎ 坦白說我是在你出生後才開始學習母親這個角色。我不是一個能言善道的人，有很多時候我是沉默寡言的，但卻比誰都要在乎妳的一切。怕妳生病，怕妳跌倒，怕妳受傷。害怕有一天妳會覺得這世界是黑暗的。當我再一次看著妳，眼前這個十四歲的青春無敵美少女，陽光開朗，熱情自信，時時能為他人著想，也讓我能暫時放下心中的一塊大石頭。光陰流轉，就這麼匆匆過了十四個年頭，看著妳牙牙學語，看著妳步履蹣跚地學走路。看著小小的妳背起書包上幼稚園，跨進國小校門成為小一新鮮人，這些都彷彿還是昨日發生的事情，怎麼才一轉眼妳就已經比我高了。當我們走在路上我挽著妳的手時，我感覺像是在跟一位好朋友肩並著肩。此刻的妳舉手投足都洋溢青春的氣息，我偏愛這樣的妳。
