I'm Shelly！I’m an illustrator working in children’s publishing.My work combines both traditional media and digital techniques and always aspires to be rich, quirky and layered.My illustrations focus on characters first and foremost- I create each piece with an underlying goal of capturing a particular mood or feeling.

If that, in turn, evokes a mood or feeling in the viewer than I am at my happiest.I’m based in ever-sunny Israel, where I live with my husband and three young children. It’s usually pretty loud and messy around here!When I’m not illustrating you can find me reading, creating digital brushes, or eating cookies.You will almost never find me cooking, I’m still working on that.

英國平面設計師，出生於里茲，童年時期則在萊斯特度過。20歲搬到倫敦，分別在羅浮堡大學和紐卡索大學的藝術學院學習平面設計。之後十年，她擔任人物造型師，參與過「建築師巴布」和「無尾熊兄弟」等動畫。2007年，她進入奧斯本出版公司，重新回到最愛的設計工作，負責新奇書和翻片書的設計，最近在做的是立體書和刀模紙型書。

T01.俞泰恩(Taeeun Yoo)

俞泰恩曾為許多繪本畫過插畫，包括作家愛麗森‧麥基的兩本作品：《這麼多天》以及《只有巫婆可以飛》。她最近的一本書：《寶貝來了》，贏得紐約時報2014年的最佳兒童繪本。泰恩在南韓的弘益大學習韓式刷畫，後來到紐約市的視覺藝術學院念繪畫研究所。她居住於首爾及紐約市。

Taeeun Yoo has twice received the prestigious New York Times Best Illustrated Children’s Book Award. She has illustrated many books, including Strictly No Elephants by Lisa Mantchev, which has been published in fourteen countries. The New York Times called it a “sunny, smart, tongue-in-cheek tale.” She is also the illustrator of Kitten and the Night Watchman by John Sullivan, which received five starred reviews and was named a best book of the year by many publications. Her other books include So Many Days and Only a Witch Can Fly, both by Alison McGhee, and Round by Joyce Sidman. Taeeun was also the recipient of the Ezra Jack Keats Award and the Society of Illustrators’ Founders Award. She lives in South Korea with her family.
