Last Thursday, Mr. Zhou , Chairman of the Taipei Foundation of Finance, hosted a luncheon at National Taiwan University. He invited three other chairmen—representing the Securities & Futures Institute, the Taiwan Insurance Institute, and the Academy of Banking and Finance—to discuss potential cooperation among the four institutions. Although no concrete outcome was reached, the participants agreed to continue reflecting on the matter. In addition, Mr. Lü Xiang, Chairman of the Academy of Banking and Finance, shared his experience of studying in the United States, where he spent seven years completing his degree. Overall, it was a pleasant and meaningful lunchtime gathering.
