Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, but since I will be on a business trip to Vietnam this year, we decided to celebrate in advance.
Yesterday morning, I went to the traditional market to buy fresh ingredients. Within an hour, I cooked five dishes, including scrambled eggs with tomatoes, steamed fish, stir‑fried cabbage, stir‑fried loofah, and fried sausages. I also bought a vanilla cake to honor the two mothers in our family—my wife and my elder daughter.Later, my wife, my younger daughter, and I brought the dishes and the cake to my elder daughter and son‑in‑law’s home, where we celebrated Mother’s Day together. It was a busy yet warm and joyful day, filled with love and family spirit.
提前慶祝母親節的家庭盛宴
母親節是在五月的第二個星期天,但今年我正好要去越南出差,所以我們決定提前慶祝。
昨天早上,我到傳統市場買了新鮮食材。一個小時之內,我煮好了五道菜,包括番茄炒蛋、清蒸魚、炒高麗菜、炒絲瓜,以及炸香腸。我還買了一個香草蛋糕,來向我們家中的兩位母親致敬——我的妻子和大女兒。
之後,我和妻子、二女兒一起把菜和蛋糕帶到大女兒與女婿的家裡,在那裡共同慶祝母親節。對我來說,那是一個忙碌卻溫馨、充滿喜悅的一天,洋溢著愛與家庭的氛圍。
