One Step Away from Collapse: Seeing the Crucial Moment of Depression
Soon, I'll be joining "Formosa TV's yì yántáng" for an in-depth interview that centers on two vital themes:
🌧“Just One Step from Pressure to Collapse — Recognizing the Acute Phase of Depression”
🤝 “Breaking Stigma and Embracing New Therapies — Building a Support Network for Healing”
In preparing for this interview, I also recorded a short video (https://youtu.be/_8Iw_fUHWWc), hoping to share insights on depression in a way that feels both gentle and clear — like turning a difficult truth into something we can face together.

What I truly wish people could see is that "Depression is not simply sadness". It is a state that ripples through both body and mind, touching families and entire circles of support.
When a person stands at the edge of emotional collapse, "to be seen" and "to be there" can mean the fragile difference between despair and the first light of recovery.
If there are parts of this conversation you'd like to know more about, or if some details remain unclear, you're warmly invited to reach out through this link https://shorturl.at/9DJnG.
You’ll find more about depression, crisis intervention, and how families can become part of the healing process.

Extended Invitation | *What Neuroscience Says: When Psychology Meets the Brain*
I also wish to share an upcoming event close to my heart —
In January 2026, I’ll be joining the Taiwan Society of Adlerian Psychology to lead both introductory and advanced workshops titled “What Neuroscience Says: When Psychology Meets the Brain.”
Together, we'll journey through the landscapes of the brain, discovering how it shapes "emotion, motivation, and human connection".
We'll explore how science and empathy intertwine — how understanding the brain can make healing more possible, and change more profound,
both in therapy and in the quiet rhythms of everyday life.
