■ 歌詞解析
〈騎士〉（The Rider）是專門為動畫電影《魔戒：洛汗人之戰》（The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim）打造的原創歌曲，由David Long作曲，Phoebe Gittins作詞，並請來英國創作歌手Paris Paloma獻聲演唱。
整首歌既空靈又具有史詩感，幾乎可以媲美《魔戒》（The Lord of the Rings）電影系列的片尾歌曲。Paris Paloma從小就是《魔戒》的粉絲，在訪談裡提到這次能為《魔戒：洛汗人之戰》錄製歌曲，簡直是夢想成真。
幾乎每段歌詞都會由合唱團反覆吟唱的「Heo is se wind」是古英語（又稱盎格魯-撒克遜語），意為「She is the wind」（她即是風）。
至於這句「from the deep they will rise」（從低谷奮起），或許是指稱戰役的地點。號角堡（Hornburg）在《魔戒：洛汗人之戰》的戰役後更名為「聖盔谷」（Helm's Deep），紀念於守衛戰裡死去的洛汗國王聖盔‧鎚手（Helm Hammerhand）。
「Take up your shield, maiden」（執起盾牌，少女）則是源自「盾女」（Shield-maiden）一詞，是斯堪地那維亞神話傳說裡的女戰士。在《魔戒》原作小說裡，伊歐玟（Éowyn）也有幾次稱自己為「shieldmaiden」。
歌曲最後的「Ride now for ruin」（騎向毀滅）以及「ride to the world's end」（騎向世界之盡），很可能是向電影《魔戒三部曲：王者再臨》（The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King）的「帕蘭諾平原戰役」（Battle of the Pelennor Fields）一段，洛汗國王希優頓（Théoden）率軍衝鋒前視死如歸的演說致敬（以下將最像的部分標示為粗體）。
