✍🏻前言
最近在備考培力英檢,畢竟培力英檢很新,我也在摸索中,提供整理和分析官方題型的筆記給大家參考,也歡迎交流。(其他口說筆記:培力英檢備考|口說|題型彙整)
- 第一句以「我」為主詞做直述句詳答即可。
- 第二句至第三句加簡短解釋,最多不超過三句,否則時間會不夠。
範例: I major in English Literature. Basically, we study linguistics and learn how to analyze literary materials.
範例: I generally have projects twice a semester. One is an individual report for the midterm, the other is a group project for the final.
🌕 給予建議【第 3 題】
- 這題題型很有趣,看起來是「給予建議」,其實主要是考你陳述意見及論點的能力。
- 這題題目會給你一個需要建議的對象,直接將對象當成和你對話的人回答。
- 回答策略(1)給予一個建議,深入描述;(2)給予兩個建議,簡單解釋。
範例: You need to polish your reading skills, and improve your second language as much as you can. By doing so, you would be fully-prepared and have confidence for the upcoming challenge in English Literature.
範例:You can talk to yourself in a mirror first. It's a great method for practice. Secondly, I would suggest you give a smile before starting communication. People would be more than happy to talk to a friendly person.
🌕 經驗陳述【第 4 題】
- 陳述一件事情發生的經驗,全程使用「過去式」回答就可以了。
- 第一句回答主要問題,建議都回答「是」有東西可以講。
- 第二至三句描述事情,我的回答策略有兩個:
(1)可以從 What、When、Where、Why、How 描述。
(2)可以從我的作法、得到的結果/回應描述。
範例: Yes, I gave a presentation when I was a sophomore student. It was a group presentation for a machine learning course. We designed a robot that serves as a waiter and demonstrated this robot during the presentation.
範例: Yes, I missed a class once when I was a freshman. I wrote an email to the professor to explain my sick leave. I think I handled it well. My professor said it was acceptable for me to submit a medical excuse later, and that I could make up the quiz I missed.
🌕 情境題:分兩種【第 5-6 題】
- 第一種情境題:直接給你一個情境,請你回應和解決情境問題。
官方考試中心的情境是邀請一位同學作報告,然後幫助同學解決不敢講話的問題。 - 第一句話以直接回應問題為原則,因為 15 秒很短。
- 假定你在情境中「和同學直接互動、討論」。
(一)範例: Hey, Ray! I'd like to know if I can have you as my group presentation partner. I believe we can deliver a fabulous presentation by combining our ideas on this topic.
(一)範例: We can divide the work into three parts: data collection, layout refining, and presenting. Since you're afraid of speaking, you can handle the layout, and I can do the speaking. We'll do data collection together. Does that work for you? (建議如果語速比較慢,直接先回答各自的分工,在講其他的,這樣才不會因為時間不夠偏題。15秒很足夠講完分工三部分,以及講完同學負責排版,直接有回答到問題本身。)
- 第二種情境題:先問你對一種情境的看法,然後再請你解決情境問題。
官方考試中心的情境是出席率不足被當掉,然後幫助同學解決問題。 - 第一句話以直接回應問題為原則,因為 15 秒很短。
- 對情境的看法需要提出論點,可以提出一個論點加解釋,或是提出兩個論點。
(二)範例: I strongly agree that professors should fail students who miss too many classes. In my opinion, class participation is essential, as it is an effective way for professors to evaluate students' academic performance.
(二)範例: Hey, Mike. You need to get up earlier to catch an earlier shuttle bus. The bus is always delayed, and it might affect your grade. Or, maybe we can ride bikes to class together. How do you feel about that? (直接先回答問題,並且因為最後一題都是向同學提議解決方案居多,可以直接問 How do you feel about that? 或是 Does that work for you? )
